After two hamstring tears and not making considerable progress with regular physio, I decided to seek some professional return to play advice as I was keen to get back to rugby. I reached out to Sportland on Instagram in response to one of his regular and informative Q&As, his response was great and suggested we had a chat to discuss how he would be able to help. Subsequently, I signed up to his 12-week one-to-one programme which was the best step I could have taken. I was apprehensive at first signing onto an online programme, however I was quickly reassured by Sam’s commitment. The programmes were great, tough but appropriate, enjoyable and progressive. I was making progress from the get go and felt more and more robust as the weeks went on. Sam’s feedback from exercise footage was also great, along with his flexibility to accommodate my timetable allowing me to balance 6-7 sessions per week on top of University work. Sam has a really great set up going on here and would recommend anyone looking to progress in any form of physical capacity to get involved! – Sam M.
