Strength and Conditioning for the part time player – Bin Juice Webinar
Being a part time rugby player is hard enough. The not to mention you have to manage your strength and conditioning around it.
Ive played part time rugby for nearly 15 years. Ive worked at the top level of athlete preparation for 10. Ive coached world cup winners and boat race winners. I know how to bridge the performance gap between the two. Especially if you have little time, a full time job and really want to get the most out of your training.
The big problem with rugby strength and conditioning in the leagues is that coaches think that a good blasting is the way forward. THIS IS WRONG. It is quite frankly the last thing you want to be doing after the 60 min drive to training from work. If you know how to prepare properly we can get rid of this needless training for good.
How do I know these strategies work?
Because I have used them with multiple semi pro teams and some of the techniques also with my elite level athletes. You just have to apply things a little differently.
- How to physically prepare your body to play rugby.
- How to create more robust joints and remove needless joint pain
- How to build conditioning games that actually get you fit specific to your game plan.
- How to warm up effectively and still have time to play touch.
- Build a gym training program that actually works!!!
